Join the team Download the "Volunteer Application" to become a member. Volunteers play an active role in implementing and coordinating specific projects in assigned cities. RFR keeps a log of all volunteer hours and activities in its database for reference purposes. A breakdown of your total hours can be given at your request. Any personal information that is provided to RFR will remain confidential. Any pertaining information to our volunteers will not be shared or distributed in any means, without their prior consent. All members of RFR must have submitted an application form to the Board of Directors.
Board of Directors Duties:
- Overlooks the activities of the Volunteer Initiative Groups.
- Maintains the main web site
- Coordinates finances.
- Marketing and publicity of events
- Recruitment of new members.
- Assesses volunteers and maintains their hours and involvement on their file.
- Overlooks volunteer database of VIG.
- Training the Volunteer Initiative Group.
- Initiates global campaigns and provides the necessary material to the VIGs. Eligibility:
- Must have been a part of the Volunteer Initiative Group for at least one term.
- Elected every two years during an Annual General Meeting. Volunteer Initiative Group Duties:
- Coordinates with the BD to carryout global aid programs.
- Organizes local initiatives within the community.
- Coordinates with the volunteers in their division to help out during the events.
- Maintains VIG web site.
- Coordinates with the BD to assess the IM and GV.
- Keeps a database of all volunteer hours and involvement within the branch.
- Gives recommendations to the BD prior to the Annual General Meeting for appointing VIGs. Eligibility:
- Must have been active during RFR events (in the IV category)
- Has previous experience with organizing events; OR
- Involved in extra-curricular activities or have skills that will be beneficial to the organization (graphic design, sports, etc)
- Officer positions will be appointed by the BD during the Annual General Meeting. Immediate Volunteers Duties:
- Helps out during events, but cannot commit to the organization due to other obligations. Eligibility:

A monthly newsletter will be distributed via email to organizations and RFR members about your events and its details.
